“The show is designed for anyone who has any interest in flowers, lawns, landscapes or gardens," said Adrienne Jansen, Iowa State University Extension Program Coordinator in Woodbury County. "Everyone will enjoy the quality speakers who will present and the commercial vendors who will demonstrate new ideas.”
Informative presentations will be running on both Friday and Saturday. Speakers from across the tri-state area will bring their extensive knowledge to the March 2013 show.
The event will offer demonstrations and educational displays on straw bale gardening, building an outdoor room, vegetable gardening, transplanting, pruning and more.
Commercial exhibitors will showcase new and innovative products plus traditional items and services that make gardening and lawn care easier and more enjoyable.
“The Siouxland Garden Show will give area garden enthusiasts a jumpstart on their spring and summer landscape and outdoor planning,” said Carol Larvick, Extension educator at UNL Extension. “This event will have something for novice flower and garden enthusiasts and those who have been gardening for many years.”
